Quack and Quail club is made up of 2 separate clubs under
1 name. The clubs are set up to be small so everyone can enjoy hunting
with out being crowded. Both clubs also can use the deer hunting club
house in Edgecombe county . The club house can be used from the day after
deer season right to September 1st. During the off season of deer, duck
and quail, the deer club hunting land can be used to train your hunting
dog on the many ponds and open fields the deer hunting club has. There is
a $10 night fee and a $5 day fee for using the club house.
The Duck club is made up some awesome duck hunting land in Johnston,
Franklin, Nash and Edgecombe counties. The land is made up of swamps,
beaver ponds, farm ponds , flooded timber, small creeks and land on the
Tar river in Edgecombe county. The club has a set membership of 15
members. Our goal is to hunt improve our duck hunting by doing different
projects such as building and placement of wood duck boxes, hen houses for
mallards, planting of food plots for duck hunting. Also our club is always
looking out for more land to for the club. This club is also a family
friendly club.
The Quail club is made up of 400 plus acres of great quail hunting. The
club is listed as hunting preserve so we can release quail and pheasants.
The land is set up in open fields and small planted pines . The club is in
Edgecombe county just outside Pinetops . This club is also family friendly

Main Objectives of the Club:

Provide club members the
opportunity to harvest ducks and quail.
In order to achieve our
objectives, the club rules and procedures are
explained in detail below. These rules are
provided to help develop and maintain the properties
as exceptional places to hunt duck and quail, fish,
view wildlife, and form lasting friendships with
fellow club members. Since the club has been
established, we will have no tolerance for violation
of State or Federal Game Laws, and just as
importantly, for violations of the club rules and
procedures set forth below. Each member’s
understanding and acceptance of the rules will make
every hunting season a safe, pleasant, and
productive one for all. Failure to adhere to
these rules may result in the loss of club
membership, annually and possibly permanently, with
no monies being refunded.
General Rules and Guidelines
-
First, and foremost, respect.
Respect for fellow members, respect for
landowners, respect for the land itself, and
respect for the game pursued.
-
All members must abide by all
applicable Federal and State Game Laws at all
times. NO EXCEPTIONS.
-
All attempts should be made to
avoid damaging the farmer’s crops, timber,
gates, roads, and right-of-ways. Members
found to be deliberately damaged property of any
kind will be asked to leave. Dues will not
be refunded.

Members should only use
pre-established roads and paths to traverse the
properties; do not drive across any field or
waterway with a vehicle or ATV.
-
All members are required to
carry a membership card with them at all times.
Individuals on the properties who cannot produce
a valid membership card will be considered
trespassers and will be treated as such.
Members are requested to record the vehicle
make, model, and tag number of anyone suspected
of trespassing.
-
NO LITTERING. Do not leave
trash in the field, in or around any hunting
location, or on the grounds of the clubhouse.
Clubhouse Rules
-
The members of the Quack and
Quail Club can use the clubhouse after deer
season and up until deer season starts again.
-
Members utilizing clubhouse
facilities are expected to cleanup after
themselves. Trash should not pile up for
an extended period of time and should be taken
to the nearest drop location on a weekly basis,
at a minimum.
-
No shoes/boots are to be worn in
the clubhouses; they are to be removed at the
door. While at the clubhouse, members will
park in an orderly fashion. Please do not
block the known thoroughfare around the house.
-
Any member or guest of a member
that damages clubhouse facilities will pay to
have the damage repaired.
-
All adults staying overnight at
one of the clubhouse locations must pay a fee of
$10 ($15 for adults with children). Fees
are to be deposited in the lock-box kept at the
clubhouse. Revenues generated will be used
to help defray costs associated with clubhouse
maintenance and utilities (electrical, water,
etc.)

Members under the age of 18 are
not allowed to stay overnight in the clubhouse
without being under the direct supervision of an
adult member.
-
No Smoking in the clubhouse or
anywhere on the club properties. There
will be no smoking while going to or from the
stand as well as in any stands on the farms.
If you smoke, you will do so outside the
clubhouse only. In addition, members and
guests should use discretion while chewing
tobacco, and are responsible for properly
discarding their “spit cans”.

No fighting in the clubhouse or
on the club properties. Anyone caught
fighting will be expelled from the club and dues
will not be refunded.

Excessive drinking will not be
permitted in the clubhouse. No hard liquor
is allowed on club property. Please note
that at no time may an individual be under the
influence of drugs and/or alcohol while hunting
or fishing on club land. The latter are
grounds for immediate termination of membership,
as firearms and alcohol/drugs do not mix.

No loaded firearms are permitted
in the clubhouse – PERIOD. Under no
circumstance shall a member load a firearm while
in the clubhouse.
Safety Rules
-
Hunters under the age of 16 must
be under the direct supervision of a properly
licensed adult, as specified in the North
Carolina Wildlife Resource Commission
Regulations.
-
No loaded firearms will be
permitted in or on any vehicle.
-
Members under the age of 18 are
not allowed to stay overnight in the clubhouse
without being under the direct supervision of an
adult member.
Guest Rules
-
A guest may accompany a paying
member for a maximum of 5 times total.
This means a non-member can hunt the farms of
Quack and Quail Club five times during the
hunting season, no matter whom he/she is a guest
of.

Guests are required to pay
$10/day for Duck hunting; $40/day for Quail
hunting. There is no charge for immediate
family members. All guest fees must be
paid in full before the hunt can start.
-
Each member is entitled to 5
guess for the entire membership year or should
work it out with the Club Manager.
-
Members are responsible for
their guests, including immediate family
members.
-
All individuals, including
guests, must follow the Quack and Quail Club
rules set forth in this document.

Dues go to the lease of the club

All fees and fines will go into
an account for the club to use for food plots or
whatever supplies the club needs for the year.

Once paid, all dues are
non-refundable – so ask all questions before
you join!
