DEER & TURKEY

  

We are a small group of hunters treading lightly on 1100+ acres.  Trophy managed, lightly hunted; all monies go to leases and farmhouse expenses.  This is not a business, not a lot of frills; just good company and good hunting.  Total membership limited to 12. TWIN PEAKS HUNT CLUB RULES

2009

 

 

1.  All Hunters must sign out at the farm hours before hunting, mark stand

     location on map, and sign back in when the hunt is completed.

 2.  Lock all gates when leaving.

 3.  Park in designated areas only.

 4.  4 wheelers are to be used sparingly to retrieve game and to corn.

      Hunters are to walk into stands from parking areas.

 5.  No hunting or target practice behind farmhouse.

 

  

Deer

1.  All deer killed must be entered in logbook.

2.  You can shoot as many deer as your license allows.

3.  Does must be 60 lbs minimum.

4.  All bucks shot on Whitehurst farm must be 6 Point or better.  After first 6

  Pointer, all must be 8 Points or better.  All bucks shot on River and

     Schoolhouse farms must be 8 Points or better.  A point is measured as

      being 1” long minimum from all sides.

5.  Sponsor members are responsible financially and morally for actions of

      guests.  Guests may shoot one deer per year as per club regulations.

6.  The same guest is only allowed to hunt two times in one year.

7.  Guest fees are $25/person per hunt.

8.  Fine for button bucks and does less than 60 lbs = $50.00

9.  Bucks under point limit = $250.00

10.  Guest fees and fines are due immediately and are to be deposited in

        the box at the farmhouse.

11.  Children of members still in school shall be considered members.

12.  Spouses shall be considered members.

13.  Kids 14 and under can shoot one deer of any type.  All subsequent

       deer must meet state and club regulations.

14.  Dump all carcasses in pit, leaving skinning area clean.

15.  No loaded firearms in Farmhouse.
