Jagermister Outfitters is
Iowas Premier Waterfowl Outfitter. We are a family owned and
operated guide service. We are located in Southeast Iowa in Iowa's famous
Amana Colonies, 15 miles west of Iowa City and 18 miles Southwest of Cedar
Rapids.
We provide a quality one on one hunting experience for
whitetail deer, Eastern wild turkey and waterfowl. Most or our hunting
packages include lodging. Also we provide special hunts for women,
handicapped and youths, call for hunt packages and pricing.
Our prices are reasonable and our commitment to providing an
outstanding hunting experience is second to none. Please feel free to

DEER
HUNTING:
Iowa
is the "Hotspot" for big bucks and the destination of serious
trophy hunters. We have outstanding genetics, perfect habitat and great
food sources including; Corn, Soybeans, Alfalfa, acorns and food plots.
Combining all of this lets us grow and take many bucks scoring P&Y
125"+ and B&C 170"+ on my hunts. P&Y size bucks are very
common and I allow no bucks less than 125" to be taken off of my
leases. We hunt from tree stands, ground blinds and elevated towers.
Although, we have more than our fair share of big bucks, it is still
hunting and success depends upon the hunters ability. I am one of the
best Trophy Whitetail Outfitters in Iowa and hunts book 1-2 years in
advance. ALL HUNTS ARE FAIR CHASE and all hunts include lodging. Iowa is a
draw state, you must apply in May. Please call for more information.
Archery
Hunts: We offer semi guided Trophy Whitetail hunts, semi guided
means; stands are set and scouting is done prior to you arrival, you get
here and hunt. All hunts are fair chase on managed leases or public hunt
areas (over 20,000 acres of public land.)
We are located in Iowa's zone # 7. Most leases have been in QDM for at
least 10 years, success is based upon hunters ability. Our archery
season runs October 1 thru early December. Iowas rut peaks mid
November.

TURKEY
HUNTING:
This is fast becoming one of the greatest hunting opportunities in
Iowa. The number and quality of birds is amazing. These are trophy hunts
for Eastern Wild Turkey, our birds typically weigh 25lbs plus. We have a
very high success rate on spring guided hunts with over 30 years of turkey
hunting experience. We offer expert calling for shotgun, muzzle loading
shotgun and archery hunts. Whether you want to set up and call or try a
spot and stalk hunt let us help you get your next trophy bird. We fully
offer guided hunts on over 15,000 acres of land. The Iowa season runs mid
April - mid May with the state beginning to accept nonresident
applications in January.

WATERFOWL
HUNTING:
"Iowa's premier waterfowl outfitter" With over 35 years
of waterfowl hunting experience, there are few things Lynn doesn't know
about waterfowl hunting. Puddle Ducks, Divers, Canadian Geese and
Spring Snows, Lynn knows them all. Jagermister Outfitters offers both
field and water hunts. The water hunts are typically guided from his
custom built 20' Clark boat 4 heaters, stove, cook top and color TV are
part of the set up. Some hunts are guided from comfortable bank blinds,
and Avery blinds are used on the field hunts with large custom spreads.
Lynns early season Canadian Goose hunts and Spring Snow Goose hunts are
becoming legendary.

SPRING
SNOW GEESE HUNTS:
I have been
hunting/guiding to Conservation Order since its inception. Our leases are
located in NW Missouri near Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge, SE and
Central Nebraska. These areas attract thousands of Snow Geese during peak
migration. We hunt picked crop fields from layout or bale blinds. All
hunts are full day hunts. The hunts are fully guided with hundreds of the
best decoys and electronic callers provided. These hunts do not include
lodging; we assist hunters in making reservations near the leases we are
hunting. There are many nice, clean, and reasonably priced rooms
available. Groups of 8 or more get their own field. Smaller groups will be
mixed in to fill dates. These hunts take place from mid February until the
geese leave the area, usually the end of March. Come prepared to be
amazed!
