If you are tired of seeing motorized feeders advertised for $200, as well as motors for feeders costing $75 and up, let us instead build fully functional units for you. We use these personally and tested them to assure squirrels could not get into them, or destroy them. Most others have a flat top which gathers rainwater and rust the lid, eventually ruining the feeder and motor, ours have a dome top to prevent such. We have our own internal funnel system which helps assure as much feed as possible is directed to the motor, so feed is fresher and less likely to spoil.

On the other hand...Do not buy feeders which only hold 6 gallons/50 pounds of feed or corn. You do nothing but leave your scent in the woods, and spook your deer. Our feeders are designed to hold a food supply so that you only need to visit them once a month to fill them.

Features:
30 gallon rust resistant barrel. easily painted and camouflaged.
Metal barrel and metal motor/spinner unit, no cheap plastics.
75-100 pounds of corn last over a month, not days as tube feeders do depending upon feeder settings (i.e. runtime).
Some of our motor units are programmable, others are photocell operated (your choice).
Barrel has a "domed" top and internal funnel system, as well as the motorized unit is protected from environment.
Metal cover/top so corn is fresh and protected from elements. Whereas tube feeders place corn on the ground, it gets wet, and helps pass diseases amongst animals.
Either runs off standard 6v battery (you supply either) available everywhere. Easily installed and replaced. Battery last for months, depending upon feeding schedule, etc.

Motor and kicker plate assembly: (Motor may vary slightly)
Each motor housing unit is all metal, including the kicker plate, which keeps
"critters" from destroying your feeders as they do to the plastic
units (trust me on this). I personally tested and used these to assure this.
Barrel Assembly:
The barrel assembly is galvanized to prevent rust, which causes corn to take on
a nasty taste. In the field, we place a 75-100lbs. of corn in each
container, even though there is room for 200+ pounds of corn. This way the
corn is fresher, and removes any question pertaining to weight issues. I strongly suggest/request you
do the same.
